Escaping From Houdini []
Lady Crenshaw overpaid for the flowers, even though Liesel tried to refuse. Her husband confronted her over missing money and she claimed it must have been that thieving flower girl. Out of nothing more than jealousy.
Lady Crenshaw knew how her husband would react—apparently he’s got a history of locking people away. Because the family is friends with the Chief Magistrate Robert Prescott who gave Liesel an unfair trial.
Conditions in prisons are atrocious. And Andreas betrothed got sick there. Something that could have been treatable, but Dr. Arden refused to tend to her in the workhouse. Which lead to her death.
This lead the murder to kill his daughter and wife, Olivia and Mrs. Prescott due to the hand he played in Liesel death.
